Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte also stated that (technically) “it is not a website that belongs to the Cabinet or the government.”
Recently, the Prime Minister said that decisions to extend the Dutch military campaign in Afghanistan could also be taken without a majority of the votes in Dutch Parliament. Even the government’s PR and Communication Bureau rejected that view.
Geert Wilders, who launched the complaint center, used to be a member of Rutte’s political party, the VVD and is now supporting the current government coalition.
