Leaseweb allegedly gave the Dutch Team High Tech Crime of the National Police exactly three days to investigate the Bredolab botnet, otherwise Leaseweb would go and take down the botnet by themselves.
Only then an investigation was launched by the Dutch police to analyze the botnet, arrest a suspect and study the users of the botnet.
