Every day thousands of new web pages are being created which contain new theories as to why the Dutch government did not simply decide to get rid of its controversial Secretary General Joris Demmink, as the man is causing so much embarrassment, pretty much on a global scale.
These theories revolve around three main topics:
1. The possible complicated quid pro quo relationship between Demmink and the Turkish government as previously described here;
2. The idea that Demmink may be able to expose various scandals involving the Justice department, one of which being the case of Marianne Vaatstra as described here.
But the third allegation is a very specific one, involving the family of the woman of which Dutch magazine Opzij feels that she’s one of the most powerful women in the region and of which Forbes claims she’s one of the richest royals on the face of the earth, HM Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands.
The conspiracy theory suggests that Queen Beatrix herself had Joris Demmink installed on 15th October 2002, shortly after the death of her husband Prince Claus, either due to the fact that Demmink had detailed information on the private life of Claus, or because of his willingness to help out putting a lid on those activities.
It is claimed that Claus was in a sexual relationship with one of Beatrix’ advisers Mr. Frits Salomonson (who allegedly would become one of the suspects in the Rolodex investigation) and that both would have engaged in dubious and perverse activities.
It will be difficult to substantiate all these claims, since most of these events occurred in the Eighties and Nineties. If Demmink truly has any knowledge of these events, by either participating in them, facilitating them or covering them up, it is likely he will take the information to his grave…
Now you know the real reason why Lady Justice is wearing a blindfold. Sometimes justice authorities will reach for the sword. On other occasions they will act as if nothing happened and deny having seen any unlawful act, in order to keep up appearances and defend the greater good at the expense of one or more individual victims. A tough balancing act…
